Don’t Let Pain Hold You Back From What You Love.

When you hear the words "rotator cuff," most people picture their athletic and fitness journey being over. But we know that people still compete at a high level, even with a rotator cuff injury. In fact, many don’t even know they have a tear. And yet — that word "tear" sends most people straight to a surgeon's office, or into months of avoiding moving their shoulder entirely.

Here's what we actually know: nearly half of people with rotator cuff have ZERO pain or limitations. Imaging is a snapshot, it doesn't predict your future or determine what you can still do.

What we see constantly is this: someone has shoulder pain, gets imaging, is shown all their "imperfections," gets scared, stops using their shoulder — and then wonders why it keeps getting weaker and more painful. In reality, it’s usually the inactivity and fear that leads to increased pain, not what your MRI showed.

Shoulder pain shouldn’t be the end of your fitness journey. Imagine a life where you can lift without pain.

  • You have shoulder pain that won’t go away and it’s impacting your ability to lift in the gym.

  • You’ve been told, “just get surgery” and refuse to believe that’s the only option.

  • You’ve tried traditional PT and doing the pulley or arm bike for 5 minutes to “warm up” isn’t cutting it.

  • You’re a CrossFitter, Hyrox athlete, or overhead athlete struggling with pressing, snatching, etc.

  • You were told to rest and it didn’t help.

From Our Patients

“I’m so glad I met Megan! I had arm pain for 3 years and just figured that’s the way it would always be. But with Megan’s plan of dry needles and exercises I’m now pain free. And I’ve learned ways to modify in classes to avoid injury. I can’t recommend Megan enough!”

Charlotte W.

“Megan has been taking care of me for the past three years, with a wide range of physical issues - ranging from race preparation to weight lifting, and has managed to solve everything I’ve thrown her way. She listens to all your concerns and finds a perfectly suited solution for all of her patients. There simply isn’t anyone else I could recommend more!”

Lyle Z.

“I've had a ton of success with Megan at Unlimited! Went in with an arm injury and was given a thorough examination, comprehensive care, and an actionable plan for what to do after the appointment. Everything felt incredibly personalized to my needs; the overall theme of the appointment was not "what hurts?" but "what in your life are you prevented from doing?", which helped expose the correct strategy to take to move forward.”
